The UW Campus, in all it's craziness

Even though I don't take much in the way of pictures, I do enjoy photography. I don't consider myself any good at it, but sometimes I find that I run across things that are so silly, so wild, or so beautiful, and I always wanna snap a photo. Well until recently, I never carried a camera around, but since I've gotten on campus I have taken to snapping some photographs. So here are a bunch of buildings, and silly things I've run into on campus. Enjoy.

The quad Probably my favorite place on campus. This was taken early December, on a surprisingly nice day.

A fall tree This is near Hansee, which is right next to McCarty, where I live.

Fall leaves in front of changing Ivy This is right down the road from McCarty.

The Mario Pipe The goombas get annoying, but you get used to them after a while.

Loew Hall This is where my Engineering class is.

Silly trees I just liked the trees.

The mysterious blue window I'm pretty sure you get superpowers if you stand under it long enough.

Bagley Hall This is where my Chem class is. The walls in the building have so much Uranium in it that you get as much radiation inside as you do outside. If the school wanted to tear it down it'd be considered nuclear waste and would cost billions to clean up.

The fountain in front of Bagley John got tossed in to it by Tamer.

Roberts Hall This is one of my favorite buildings on campus because of the large courtyard in front.

Roberts and Mueler Another shot, you can see Mueler, which is a building underneath Roberts.

Silly berry things They just look cool.

The birds What else do you want me to say?

Birds over Roberts It has a neat effect.

More birds Basically the same thing as above.

Campus from afar Straight ahead is the fountain where Bagley, the Chemistry bulding and Mary Gates are.

Anderson This is where my math class is, the lecture hall has a pretty neat looking cathedral style ceiling.

A tall pine tree amongst deciduous trees What more is there to say?

Anderson from another angle

A Spider on a spider web The spider was HUGE! I named it 8 legs. . .cuz it had 8 legs. Actually that's a lie.

The spider web again Wooo! This sure is exciting huh?

A big tree *shrug* That's all I got.

Roses in front of Bagley Each rose costs like 300 dollars. . . I think I'll pick one for a girl some time. Do you think she'd be impressed?

Burgandy Ivy I think this is Mary Gates Hall, but I could be wrong.

Burgandy Ivy 2 This is the same picture, only from a bit farther back.

Denny Hall This was the first building on campus.

Another silly tree A closer look is below.

It's almost like a cactus

A squirrel They're all over the place!

A cool looking lamp That would look really good in my dorm room.

A sorta interesting entrance. . . I don't really know why I took this. . . I just think I liked the lamps.

That crazy Ivy This is probably one of my favorite pictures. It's one of the buildings in the quad.

Fall trees Living westside makes you really appreciate the fall.

Changing trees I like the contrast between the shadows and the sun.

Ivy covered bulding The shadow contrast here is pretty cool.

Bright red ivy It's super sweet.

Mt. Rainier Any day that I can see Mt. Rainier is a good day.

The Hub The Hub has all sorts of fun games, like an arcade, pool, and bowling. Very exciting.

Anyways, that's all for now. Likely I'll weed some of these pictures out as I add more, but in the meantime, there are a whole bunch to look through. They're not super exciting, but maybe by looking at these you can understand why I enjoy the nice long walks between classes.
